Dear Enzo – 2021

Year in Review

2021 has been a year. A year in which you were baptized, you learned to read, you solved a Rubik’s cube, and you lost your 2 front teeth.

I am extremely grateful for the amount of energy you bring to this family. Wanting to be active, playing, reading, and constantly doing something. You have this amazing ability that few people have, and that is to listen to your elders and obey.

As your dad, I want to encourage you to not let what others think about you, impact or make you doubt who you are. You are a child of God, you are loved. Don’t be afraid to let others know this. Don’t be afraid to share your feelings or take an action because of what someone else might say.

Instead I want you to look for opportunities to help someone, to pray for your friends and people in your class that are struggling with their behavior.

I want you to continue asking questions about God and I will remind you that I don’t have all of the answers. But I am excited to walk through this journey together.

I love you little man (although you aren’t so little anymore). Thank you for being an awesome son and a good big brother. It brings a smile to face every time I see you playing nicely with your sisters and I can’t wait to see how you and your little brother play in future.
