Love Somebody

Hopefully you got a few minutes this week to think about your church situation.  There is no point in sticking to the same routine if it’s not doing anything beneficial in your Christian walk.

If you decided to try out a new church, here are my suggestions/advice:

  • Sometimes it will take a couple times to see if it’s a good fit
  • Take a look at the congregation (do you fit in?)
  • See if people stay around after the sermon and chat with each other
  • Do you like the type of music they played (if any was played?)
  • Did you understand the message and agree with what was said?

If you can answer those questions to your liking, then I think you found a good fit.  The next step is to get involved.  Get to know those people, get to know the pastor, join a small group, lead a small group, do whatever it takes to get involved.

But to wrap up this week, let’s get on with the Helping Hands post!

This week I wanted to just say how much I love my wife.  She puts up with a lot from me and also does so much for me.  I’m truly grateful that God put her in my life.  I love you Kacie!

Everybody could use a little love so this weekend, I hope that you share your love for someone (a spouse, a child, a friend, a parent, etc).  Just tell them you love them or do something extraordinarily nice for them.  Enjoy your weekend.
