Welcome back and I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
For those of you that are new or for those of you that need a little refresher, last week I wrote about honesty and I challenged you to try to be completely honest in one aspect of your life (read more here). I then shared something deeply personal in hopes to get you to do the same (read my story here).
Thank you to those that accepted the challenge and made the choice to get one step closer to God.
Although the original plan was to do two weeks of confessions, I thought it would be a good idea to follow-up a week of honesty with a week of forgiveness. With honesty comes a lot of emotions and forgiveness is a good release of those emotions.
So this week, I’m challenging you to forgive those that have wronged you.
Matthew 5:7 ESV
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
And Jesus himself said the following:
Luke 17:3-4 NIV
“If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”
